Dap Paxton is a multifaceted filmmaker with a deep passion for storytelling and an innovative approach to the craft. His diverse skill set spans acting, directing, and mentoring, allowing him to bring a unique perspective to every project he works on. Over the years, Dap has cultivated his expertise by working closely with middle and high school students as both an acting mentor and film program director. His dedication to nurturing young talent is evident in his work with the Fulton County Arts Commission at the West End Performing Arts Center, where he has taught the fundamentals of acting. Dap’s work with the film department at Southwest DeKalb High School has also played a key role in helping students fulfill their curriculum requirements by developing and executing senior film projects.

Dap’s passion for diversity and inclusivity drives much of his work, both on and off the camera. He is a vocal advocate for increased representation of underrepresented voices in the film industry and uses his platform to foster societal change through impactful storytelling. His performances are known for their emotional depth and authenticity, captivating audiences and making each character unforgettable.
